Owner, Vitality Growth Labs

I built this because I needed it too.

Twenty five years in tech, science, and healthcare. I have been the person everything routes through. I know exactly how expensive that is.

01 / The two halves

Lab bench to boardroom.

I did not come to marketing from marketing. I came to it from chemistry, then from technology, then from running innovation inside health systems big enough to have their own zip codes.

The science
I was trained to test things.

A chemistry degree, then a master's in technology. Formulation, not opinion. It is why I will tell you when something is not working instead of repackaging it as a learning.

The systems
Then I ran innovation at six of them.

Providence. Bon Secours Mercy Health. FMOLHS. Avera. Thirty six products to market. I know what it takes to move something through an organization that does not want to move.

02 / Why practices

The big systems were never the ones who needed me most.

A health system has a department for this. An independent practice has an owner or a small team who does it at night. They are better at their actual work than anyone in the building, and they are losing hours a week to things a system should be doing for them.

So I went to work with the practices themselves. Hyperbarics. Functional medicine. Longevity clinics. Chiropractors. Pain centers. Independent practices. More than eighty health and wellness companies so far. I know this industry, and I know what it costs to be the bottleneck in your own business.

Keep your people on the high touch, relational work.
Let robots do robot work.

That is the whole belief. Not AI instead of people. AI underneath them, doing the work that never deserved a person in the first place.

03 / How I work

I am a builder, not a consultant.

There is a version of this business where I hand you a strategy deck and invoice you. I have watched that version fail people for twenty five years. I build it, and I run it.

What that means

You talk to me

Not an account manager who relays your question to someone you never meet.

What that means

I say the hard thing

If a piece is not working, you hear it from me first, with what I want to do about it.

What that means

I stay past launch

Anyone can ship a build. The work is making it still run three months later.

04 / Credentials

The receipts.

The credentials are half of it. The other half is what the work has done for practices like yours. Those are the case studies.

Bush Foundation Fellow

A leadership and innovation fellowship. It taught me how to lead, grow, and build in the middle of uncertainty. That skill has never been worth more than it is right now.

36 products to market

Taken from idea to launch inside organizations where launching anything is the hard part.

Innovation lead, six health systems

Providence, Bon Secours Mercy Health, FMOLHS, and Avera among them.

Chemistry and technology

Undergraduate degree in chemistry, master's in technology. I test things before I sell them.

05 / The rest of it

Services. Media. CPG.

All three are health and wellness. I build and test in all of them. I do not just “advise.” I have done it. I still do it. I live this world in real time, right along with you.
